How It Works

Step 1: The Photo
The photo you upload with your order will be used by our artists as their inspiration for the illustrated portrait.

Step 2: The Finishes
Customize your portrait with a black or white frame (or just the poster version) and add an optional line of text, such as your family name or a memorable date.

Step 3: The Proof
Receive your artwork proof to approve in 3 days or less. Request unlimited revisions until you're 100% happy. Once you're ready, we'll push your order into production, quality check and shipping.

What are your shipping times and cost?

We ship to the US, Canada and Australia.

USA: Free shipping on all orders over $100 within the USA, $10 flat rate shipping otherwise.

CA & AUS: $15 flatrate shipping to Canada and Australia.

Receive your free artwork preview in 1-3 days. Orders arrive within 5-7 days after you approve your artwork. Review all shipping and production times in our Shipping Guide.

How does the process work?

Upload your photo, choose your artwork style and we’ll take care of the rest from there. You will receive your artwork to review in 3 days or less after placing your order and may request unlimited revisions until your artwork is to your liking.

What kind of photos do you accept?

You don’t have to be a professional photographer. All we need is a photo that is clear and has good light. We also accept photos from Zillow, StreetEasy, Trulia, Google Earth, and more. If we notice an issue with your photo, we’ll contact you to send a new one. 

What if I need to make a change to my order?

Yes! We are happy to help with changes to your portrait order as long as you reach out to support@keepsandkin.com  within 30 minutes of your order being placed. 

After 30 minutes most changes, including address updates, can no longer be made. Please note, in some cases, changes to orders may result in shipping delays.

Can I see my portrait in different artwork styles?

If you’re not sure that you like your original style choice after receiving the proof, we are happy to illustrate a new style for you. Since each portrait is digitally illustrated by artists from scratch, we do charge a $20 fee for each additional style. You can then choose which one you like best for your final physical portrait.
